Colours of The Island takes us on an encounter with three musicians from different background, but who share their virtuosity and their “island heritage”. The saxophonist, Villu Veski, from the Muhu island in Estonia, the singer Eivør Palsdottir from Faro island and Barak “Bird” Levi from Hawaii, each in their own way draw their inspiration from beautiful landscapes and their ancestral traditions. The differences between the pieces are slim, but characterize the spirit and undertones of their own islands.
