more details about the film

The screening will be followed by a debate with Martin Pigeon from Corporate Europe Observatory and Barbara Van Dyck, researcher and activist against GMO from the association FLM, Field Liberation Movement.

At a time when we are speaking more and more about sustainable agriculture, are GMO's still a threat? Still today, there are to few studies on the risks of GMO's for the man and the environment. GMO's associate themselves with intensive agriculture that bases itself on monoculture, a model that in addition of not solving the problem of worldwide spread malnutrition threatens biodiversity. What is the situation in Belgium today? What is the policy of the EU on the topic?

Representatives and activists for the Belgian civil society will come for the discussion.

The debate will be moderated by Amaury Ghijselings from the NBO Quinoa.
