Synopsis: 

Shida is the new kid in class in a private boarding school in Tanzania. He is shy, he has no self-esteem, he does not speak one word of English – the primary language in the school, and he suffers from albinism. Like most children with albinism in the country Shida was taken away from his parents to be protected from the witchcraft related killings.

Bio Director: 

Camilla Magid studied Film- and Media science at University of Copenhagen, Arab language and culture at the Royal Danish Defence Collage. From this platform she made her first award winning documentary ‘The Black Lines’ (2006) shot in Aleppo, Syria. In 2007 Camilla became a member of the Danish Film Association SUPER16. She has since then made documentaries from Denmark, Australia, the Middle East and Africa, that has been shown on national television and festivals around the world.
